As we reach the halfway mark of 2025, there’s so much to reflect on and celebrate here at Acacia House. From cosy winter days to the bright blooms of spring, the past six months have been filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful connection.
Whether through art, music, birthdays, or shared cups of tea, life at Acacia has remained vibrant and full of purpose — and we’re delighted to share just a few of the highlights with you.
Our residents never fail to amaze us with their talents and creativity. One very special highlight this spring has been Linda’s return to painting — her art desk by the window has become a little haven of colour, calm, and self-expression. Her work reminds us how joyful it can be to reconnect with the things we love.
We also launched our heartwarming Wise Owl Award, where residents take part in our Words of Wisdom activity — sharing their life insights in their own words, proudly displayed on a whiteboard and captured in a photo.
These wise, thoughtful, and often humorous quotes have become a treasured part of our community.
Mark your calendars! On Friday 15th August, we invite families, friends, and staff to join us for an unforgettable afternoon at our Enchanted Garden Party.
