On Friday 31 October Melanie attended The Great British Care Awards, East of England, as she was Nominated and selected as a regional Finalist in the Regional Registered Manager of the Year category.
Melanie was supported on the night by Silvia, Oakdale’s 2nd manager and Tracy, Oakdale’s Senior Administrator as well as her devoted Husband Dale.
They all enjoyed a sumptuous 3 course meal and entertainment, and after all 16 nominees were read out Melanie was named as the Winner!
Melanie is delighted for this recognition for her dedication to Oakdale for the past 20 years and the Social Care Sector for the last 45 years.
Melanie would like to thank our proprietor Mr Rajamenon for the opportunity to attend the awards evening and all the Oakdale Team and Abode Care Homes for their support.
