Brambling House

Providing dementia, respite and day care services.

Brambling House is a delightful residential home for people with or dementia requiring a low/medium level of care and support. Set back from the road in rural surroundings you will find a friendly welcome and a family atmosphere at the home.

Our well-trained team of staff are dedicated to providing the best possible care to our residents. Our aim is to make sure that everyone who lives at Brambling House can continue to have a lifestyle that they choose. This applies to every aspect of daily life from choice of food and activities to meeting friends and family.

Brambling House is able to provide care for up to 20 older people who have dementia. Several of the 18 bedrooms have en-suite facilities and there are 2 twin bedrooms suitable for couples or friends to share if they wish. The accommodation is on two floors with a passenger lift enabling full access throughout. The home has an impressive large conservatory, dining room and small quiet lounge for residents to use as they desire. There is also a large attractive garden for the residents to enjoy with a car park for the use of visitors to the home.

Situated between Dover and Canterbury in the quiet rural setting of Shepherdswell, the village is within easy access of the A2. It is also served well by public transport being situated on the main London to Dover rail line and having a regular bus service between Dover and Canterbury. The village post office and convenience store are within a comfortable walking distance of the home.

The home has many other facilities available for residents including:

  • Daily activities and entertainment
  • Home cooked traditional cuisine
  • Parker bath for assisted bathing
  • Mobile shop
